 Newly Formed Industry Advisory Board Aims to Enhance Market Penetration

Lakeland, FL – October 10th, 2007. Solicore, Inc., worldwide leader of embedded power solutions under the Flexion brand, announces the formation of an Industry Advisory Board (IAB) aimed to assist with the company’s strategic direction and the execution of marketing Solicore’s advanced proprietary technology. Solicore’s patented solid-state electrolyte has helped create an enabling battery technology that now provides portable power solutions for battery operated products that until recently were not conceivable. 

Combining decades of expertise and in-depth knowledge of the industry, the IAB will meet quarterly with the management team to offer their insight in an effort to enhance Solicore’s market penetration. The members of the IAB represent the computer, marketing and consumer electronics industries, merging their knowledge base and broadening Solicore’s industry perspective. 

• Most recently serving as President of an international enterprise providing Digital Identity Management solutions, Ernie Berger boasts a far-reaching knowledge base of the technology and financial industries.  Solicore will be able to tap into Ernie’s management expertise, which he has achieved through holding numerous high-level leadership roles at national and international companies.  

• With a comprehensive understanding of the computer hardware and software industries, Barry Borden, President of LMA Group, is particularly strong in sales, marketing and finance.  He has developed successful marketing strategies for numerous companies for which he has served as an advisor, board member or CEO including  Franklin Computer, Delta Data Systems, Mergent International, Fastnet, Cricket Software, Sony, Intel and FXpress.

• Keith Harrison, co-founder of the precursor to the current Compass Marketing, is adept at converting potential to reality.  His background in sales, working with companies such as Duracell, Procter & Gamble, Sharp, and Atari, has given Harrison a great knowledge of the retail industry and how to grow product lines.

• Gilles Lisimaque, partner at ID Technology Partners, Inc., and co-founder of Gemplus, is considered one of the leading U.S. experts on smart cards and has been involved with various U.S. government projects and worked as technical advisor.  Holding multiple patents on smart card security and smart card OS design, Lisimaque brings invaluable assets to Solicore.

• Bill Lloyd, Chief Technical Officer and Senior Vice President of Eastman Kodak Company brings to Solicore more than forty years of experience in electronics systems, including a broad array of imaging and printing technologies as well as smart card systems.
